Today, we’ve released a number of significant enhancements to the home screen, reports dashboard and invoice lists that will help you manage your business and above all, give you time back in your day.

1. Business data at your fingertips

The new home screen carousel provides you instant access to your most important business data. A simple swipe brings you new dashboards showing vital sales information, including how much you’re owed, and how much you’ve earned by client. Set the carousel to the view you care about most, and that will be your home screen when you return.

Another big change we’ve made to the home screen is to bring the most common actions people take when using our app into the carousel experience, making sure these are just one tap away at any time. Now, you can enter new clients, expenses, estimates and invoices directly from the home screen by tapping “Create”.

2. Sales dashboards you can count on

Reports have also been given a major facelift. We’ve re-introduced a sales dashboard so you can view your performance at a glance and get an instant understanding of the overall health of your business. In the new sales dashboard, you’ll find an overview of your total outstanding balance, total sales which you can set by month or quarter, and sales by client. Clicking on each report will take you to a breakdown of the exact numbers that make up the report. This is just one of many steps we’re taking to provide you with richer insights to help you run a successful business.

3. Smarter invoice lists

Organizing your invoices is more intuitive too. You can now view totals at the bottom of all of your invoice lists, and sort and filter all from one place. Better still, your preferences will stick, so next time you access your lists on the device, it will be sorted just the way you like it.

4. Easier way to preview

The updated preview layout is all about making it quicker for you to complete your daily tasks. This includes enlarging the preview image to improve readability and grouping information such as invoice details, payment options and transaction history into a single, easy to read section. Additionally, quick action buttons to email and edit have been brought to the bottom of the invoice preview screen alongside an overflow menu, where the ability to add a payment, print, sign, or copy the document are only one tap away.

5. More control over your tax settings

Lastly, we have recently introduced a number of tax updates. The top priority here was giving you more control over your tax settings for each job, straight from the invoice. You can now set the rate on an invoice and apply it to all items, as well as set taxes as inclusive or exclusive for each invoice.

Improvements don’t stop here. We’re working as quickly as we can to deliver further ones so thank you for your continued feedback. Further suggestions can be sent via the ‘Send Feedback’ link in the app’s main menu.
