3 exciting new tools to help your small business win more work

New opportunities and repeat business are essential to a healthy small business. However, they can be challenging to cultivate when you have a lot on your plate.

While large companies may have specialists for accounting, marketing, customer service, and handling appointments, if you’re running a company by yourself or with a small team, you’re going to have to do a lot more than just be a master of your craft.

The good news is that you’re the boss. And we’re continually improving our service to help you do it all more easily and less expensively. Check out the latest ways we’re empowering your business by helping you be more visible online, build your reputation, and establish even better customer relationships.

We’ve made big changes to instant websites

Being discoverable online is extremely useful for growing your business. However, creating a website can be expensive and time-consuming. We’re working hard to make that a whole lot easier.

Your instant website comes at no additional cost, requires no coding, is search engine optimized – and we’ve just added some exciting new features. All you need is a few minutes to fill in the template with your information and you’re ready to go live.

Add an about us page, an image gallery, a contact form, your verified Invoice2go, a Bill.com company customer reviews – and more. Then, just drag the sections into the order of your preference, fill in the blanks for each – and voilà.

Now, when customers go to Google to search for the services you offer, they can find you more easily and contact you directly.

That’s just the beginning – we already have future updates in the works. Click here to learn more about instant websites.

You can now make your Invoice2go customer reviews public

Word of mouth is essential to small business success – and today online reviews matter just as much. Positive reviews can help you attract more customers and any critical feedback can be used to improve your services.

A few months ago, we added a feature that allows you to automatically request a review each time a customer pays an invoice. Now, Invoice2go reviews are going public and you can add them to your instant website. You have complete control of the reviews you share publicly online – show off only the ones you want.

How do you make your reviews public? Easy. When creating or editing your instant website, just add a reviews section and select the ones you want to go live.

Introducing: Engage

Excellent customer communication is one of the easiest ways to stand out from the competition and win more work. Still, it’s time consuming to write personalized messages and to maintain a follow-up calendar with all the details of your customers.

That’s why we’re excited to announce Engage – a new way we’ve made it easier for you to stay connected with your prospects and customers. Whether you’re looking to follow up with a customer, say thank you, or let them know about a special offer, these pre-made templates will save you time and help you automate important messages to those you do business with.

Simply access engage by navigating to Clients. As soon as you enter engage, you’ll be prompted with the follow ups you’ve already set up. Simply tap through and select your email template, edit as you need, and send. You’ll be reminded to follow up again, based on the frequency of communication you’ve selected for that client (weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly). Underneath your follow-ups is your client list. Here you can select whether they’re a client or lead, and select your frequency of communication with them.

There you go - build your pipeline of work in no time at all.
