It might not come as a surprise that most of your customers are completely reliant on their mobile phones. We all are. But what you may not realize is that 9 out of 10 customers prefer to communicate with businesses via text messages and messaging apps.

In years gone by it was the norm for businesses to communicate with customers face-to-face, via telephone or email. But in today’s mobile-obsessed world, more and more customers are choosing to talk with businesses via messages, making it ever so important for you to include them in your communication tool kit.

Here at Invoice2go we’re excited to launch a brand new feature that allows you to do just that. We’ve made it possible for you to send invoices directly to your customers from any messaging app you have installed on your phone, including WhatsApp, iMessage, Android Messages and Facebook Messenger.

Having the ability to send your customer an invoice in the context of an existing conversation, will not only streamline your workday, but also leave a crystal clear communication trail and make way for more immediate payments.

It’s really easy to get started. All you need to do is select the messaging icon that appears on your invoice preview, and choose the messaging service you want to use. Your customer will receive a message including a clickable link that will direct them to the Invoice2go portal. There, they can view, download and pay their invoice online.

There’s no need to worry about any sensitive details being shared through the messaging platform. All payments go through Invoice2go’s secure online payments portal, powered by Stripe, so you can rest assured knowing that your customer’s details (and your hard earned cash) are safe and secure throughout the entire process.

You (and your customers!) asked for it, and you got it. We’ll continue working on new ways to make your day to day easier, and to keep customers connected and coming back for more.
